My apology to Walgreen's

** This is a repost, as I am trying hard to remember why I ever shopped at Walgreens!

Dear Walgreen's,

I am writing to apologize for all the nasty things I have said about you. I know I always complain that your Register Rewards program sucks, and that your stores are dirty, but I am really sorry, I will try and be nicer.
I just want to tell you THANK YOU for having your Reach toothbrushes on clearance for $1.09 and for letting me use my $5/3 coupon on them making them free plus overage. To top it off you threw in a $6 Register Reward on my $0.08 total!

Thank you for having all your summer stuff 75% off, so I could use it as fillers when my total was in the negative.
Thank you for letting me purchase $113.59 worth of stuff tonight for $2.83!!! And I walked out with $12 in Register Reward for the next time I am in your store, which will be more often now!

    Hi, I have not commented before but have been lurking here a bit lately. Just wanted to say " I wish we had coupons in Australia" after seeing the deals you can get with them in the states makes me want them here REALLY bad.lol.

    Tiffany I just found out that RR can't be used when buying something that would give you back Register Rewards.. Do you know somenthing about this??

    This is why I usually complain about Walgreens and avoid them if I can... They have weird "rules" about things that you can never predict!

    I had the same experience as Naty... The cashier said that since I was paying with RR I could not earn any RR. When my RR printed out she ripped them up and threw them in the trash!! After talking to 2 different managers they said that I should have been given the RR and gave me a gift card for less than what the RR would have been!

    Oh my gosh! That is amazing!!
    I wasn't trying to "roll" them onto another reach deal. I was saving the RR to use another time, or I was buying 75% off clearance summer stuff for vacation.
    I can't believe she ripped that up! Weird!

    I was just there last night and they said they've changed their register rewards program again. To where you can only buy one reward item per day. So I tried to buy the cascade packs in 2 different transactions but they said that now I can only buy one cascade pack today and I can come back tomorrow and buy another one. You can't just make separate transactions anymore! Boo!
