Our family is surprising our 6yr old by redecorating his room in all zebra print because he puts up with alot having a special needs little 2yr old sis. We will be cleaning out our garage hopefully to be able to park a car in there and painting the inside of our house....in 5 months we have only done our bedroom and half of the kitchen ;)

We had grand plans to go camping but the windy and cooler weather where we were going changed them. We are still going to "camp" just in our backyard now. The kids will sleep in a tent (me and hubby in our own bed) We'll have a campfire with hot dogs, s'mores with reese's p-nut butter cups, and take day trips locally to hike, bowl, etc. The kids are still excited about the adventures.

Well seeing as I have to work this evening and on Monday, I have decided to clear out some of the old unused and forgotten items from my attic and donate them to the local thrift shop. I will also be chilling out and grilling ribs that I bought at a fantastic price at our local meat market. After this, I have organized a neighborhood walk for Monday with a memorial theme with kids 12 and under to gather nonperishable food items for delivery to the local disabled vets and/or their spouses. I really am looking forward to this walk. What better way to salute our American heros?
