Giveaway: Yoplait Greek Goddess!

I was contacted by MyBlog Spark to review the new Yoplait Greek yogurt. I was thrilled to do so, I have been eating Greek yogurt for a while, but have not tried the new Yoplait kind.

I was just as thick as the other brands which I like. If you have not had greek yogurt it will be thicker and have a little bit of a "twang" to it! Yoplait's was VERY good in my opinion. I tried 4 different flavors and was pleased with each one. I did not see a plain flavor and I am hoping that maybe my store just didn't carry it yet. I use the plain kind for smoothies at home every morning.

The reason that I like greek yogurt so much is that it typically has 2x's the amount of protein. I really try and balance the amount of carbs and protein that I eat and most "normal" yogurt is too sweet and high in carbs. I am so glad to have found another brand of greek yogurt that I like and can find coupons for!
MyBlog Spark and Yoplait would like to offer one MyLitter reader their own "Nourish Your Inner Goddess' gift pack, that will include the items in the picture above, with four VIP coupons for a free cup of Greek Yogurt.

The robe is AWESOME!

Please leave a comment telling us if you have tried greek yogurt. For additional entries please blog about, tweet or facebook this giveaway.

Giveaway ends Monday May 31st, Winner will chosen by Random.org and will have 48 hours to respond. US shipping only.I was not paid to do this review, however I did receive the above mentioned package for review and this did not affect my opinion. I would like to thank Yoplait through MyBlog Spark for the prize pack, information, and giveaway.

  1. They do have plain yogurt. I buy my Yoplait at Kroger. My favorite is the Honey Vanilla. Not sure if I am brave enough to try the plain.

  3. I have tried Yoplait and Oikos. I'm still getting used to it. I want to like it since every health/fitness magazine I've read in the past year has talked about how healthy greek yogurt is.

  4. I have tried Yoplait and Oikos in the blueberry flavor. i like the Yoplait better. The Oikos seems runny and I did not like the texture of it. Texas Deal Diva I am not brave enough to try the plain or the honey nut.

  8. I have had Greek yogurt before- the kind at Trader Joe's with the honey? Ooh, I loved that kind, but it's expensive so I haven't had it in ages. I had coupons for the new Yoplait brand and I went EVERYWHERE trying to find it, but it was so new I couldn't find it anywhere before they expired! And what do you know, now they even have it at WalMart gosh darn it!
    Hope I win!! Squeee! :)

  9. I tried it once with honey and fruit and thought it was way too sour-creamy. Then I tried it in a savory sauce with cucumbers, and it was really, really good. It's all about how you use it! =)

  10. I read great things about it, too - bought it and my daughter thought it was awful :( - no taste, very bland. I bought some of the Oikos brand the other day so we'll see if that goes over better. I guess it makes sense that if it's healthy it's unfortunately not going to taste so great.

  13. I love greek yogurt, I guess you can say that I'm a bit biased since I am greek, but they do make the best yogurt. Try FAGE it's the original greek yogurt and is much thicker than all the other "greek yogurts". a bit pricey but well worth it. I eat mine almost every morning with wheat germ, walnuts and raisins, sometimes I'll add greek honey as well, mmm. You can also use greek yogurt when making dip (instead of the sour cream). Plus there are many other ways to cook with greek yogurt. Enjoy!!!

  33. Greek yogurt is wonderful. I use it in place of sour cream for EVERYTHING -- even for baking and dips. It works great, and no one can ever tell the difference. I'm very glad Yoplait has come out with a Greek yogurt product!
