"I just started reading your blog last week. I have never been a serious coupon clipper but always wanted to save money. After hearing several stories from a friend on how much she saves when she shops (she is who referred me to your blog), I thought I would see what the fuss was all about. I have been clipping coupons for 2 weeks now, so I don’t have a huge backlog, but I made 2 trips today with what I had-one to Target and one to Kroger. Here are my results with 2 pictures attached.
Kroger total: $87.46
After Mega Deal discount and coupons: $37.00
Target Total: $39.41
After coupons and $5 gift card rebate: .41 cents
I have to admit that it is addicting and also made me feel great for being a good servant of the money I have. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me!"
April, please tell your friend thank you from me and I am seriously impressed that you have caught on so quickly! It does feel good to be able to get more for your money than you could ever imagine!
Todays reader spotlight is April, she is awesome because she just started couponing and this is her first trip! Amazing. It took me much longer than her to get the hang of it!
