This hand-sewn purse was designed and sewn by a woman who 's shop I found on etsy late one night. I think I have only been on etsy between the hours of 12am and 5am. I am totally addicted though. I can't start looking and not buy something, it is a sickness!
I feel in love with this purse and it's hippy style!
She really is a talented seamstress, the sewing is superb.
The shop is called LBArtworks
This is a wonderful hobo bag that is made with a designer fabric by Heather Ross. The name given to the fabric is "Lightning Bugs and other Mysteries". 
The bag measures 19" by 16" and contains a very large inner pocket for all those things that generally end up in the bottom of the purse. From the top of the handle to the bottom of the purse, it measures 26". It has a belt of leatherette for a playful touch.
"Everything has been double sewn and the stress areas have triple stitching."
I thought I would add some goodies to go with this bag. I am sure you will recognize some recent deals :) I have a few more things to throw in, I need to gather it all up. Have you tried the new vibrating mascara? I am tossing some of that in...

Love this bag!! I am known for using the same purse over and over until my sister gives one of her very NICE and VERY gently used ones. She only uses hers for a few weeks and when I visit will ask me if I need one!!

For everyday I love large bags that hold a lot! A must have with small kids. I find that now on date night with my husband, I go the extreme opposite- the smallest of small clutches. Best of both worlds.

I am between purses right now. My first purse was small...small enough to hold my wallet. My husband went on business to the UK and brought me back a new wallet...which was too big for my small purse. I have now moved into my new wallet, but for a lack of purse, carry around a pink striped beach bag, because I have nothing else at present. I don't do a lot of purse shopping. Too many choices and well, I fear I may pick a purse that I will never live down...but then again...any purse would be better than a bright pink striped beach bag that only holds my wallet, chapstick, keys and phone. :) Needless to say, I have no style...I think it's evident. :)

the other day we went to church to return home and discover that our dog/puppy had eaten the bag my husband got me for my birthday--he was so proud he found me the "perfect" bag, it had pockets to organize everything and was going to have room for 2 bottles of water--well you can tell a man picked it out cause all it had room for was 2 bottles of water, I kept trying to make it work but couldn't, which is why I wasn't using it when the dog ate it, but I was still devastated that the dog ate it, cause that meant we couldn't return it when I found where my husband bought it for me.
Anyhow, I am not picky about purses (unless I have to spend money on them) I just need one that can hold all my stuff--I watch a bunch of 2 year olds and although I don't drive (medical reasons) I do take them to quite a lot of places and when you have 3 or more 2 yr olds you don't want to have to carry a bunch diaper bags, so I need a purse that can hold my wallet, a couple bottle water for me (the water here tastes like dirt) a few sippy cups for the kiddos, pads (just incase) diapers and wipes, treats, a few small toys, anti inch creams (for bug bites), crayons, you know, it actually suprises me how much can fit in my normal size purse--but I always seem to be amply prepared for whatever life throws my way--only problem is my husband is constantly nagging me about my purse not being zipped, he keeps telling me someone is going to steal something or it will fall out--which is why he got me the new bag the dog ate.
Either way, I would really love this bag, I think not only will it be able to hold all my "mommy" stuff but that it will also be able to be closed and heaven knows with 3 kids that are 2 (not to mention my 4 yr old) I could really use that stuff that comes with it--specially that magic eraser, I just noticed today that someone got their hands on a perment marker and felt inspired to decorate not only the white side of my portable dishwasher, but also a few things in the kids room--gotto love those little artists. I usually don't enter these things mainly cause I use to and never won so I figured why waste my time, but being that money is tight and I am desperate right now I figured I would cross my fingers and give it a shot (who knows, I paid my tithe, I might have a chance.)
