Thanksgiving CVS Transaction!

This is last years Thanksgiving day haul from CVS!
I paid something like $22 of all this and left with over $100 in ECBS's!

I have to say I am disappointed that this year was not nearly as good...

My store switches over their sale the night before so I ran in about 6pm to scan something and see if they has switched. My favorite Manager, caught me checking prices and started teasing me about the sale. He did inform me that he was personally switching over the sale at 11pm. Wished me a Happy Thanksgiving and I ran home to get the kids in bed and come back. I came back at 10:30 with the plan the by the time I was done shopping I could check out. WRONG.... the sale switched over at 11pm but the ECB's would not print until after 12. The clerks under penalty of being fired were not allowed to print ECB's on Black Friday items until after 12am. So we waited.... Finally I was able to check out and after almost complete disaster with my sisters transactions I finally left the store at 1:30am! I have to say the cashiers at my store are the BEST! They were so polite and sweet to us!

While perhaps not as good as last year, I have to say that I got some great deals at CVS this year. On my first transaction I purchased the Schick Titanium razor, a Bic Soleil razor, the Vaseline lotion, 3 Herbal Essences products (although the styler I got with my BOGO coupon wasn't included in the ECB promo so it was only FREE!), a tube of Colgate Advanced, and a thing of Degree deodorant. I used a $10/$50 from a previous purchase and a $5 ECB that I had. After coupons my total was $18, roughly, but I got $31 in ECB. On my second transaction I bought the Norelco rechargeable electric razor, a second Bic razor, a bottle of Herbal Essences, a Hershey bar, and a Mars bar. My total on the second transaction was just over $10 for a total of around $28 for the day, but even at Walmart prices I got about $100 worth of stuff, and avoided the mad dash at Walmart! My biggest issue is that another $10/$50 printed on my second transaction. Now I have to figure out a scenario to use it before it expires!
Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into this blog!

I forgot to mention that I also received $9.48 in ECB for my second transaction.
