Looking for something to do today in The Woodlands?

Well kids, it is officially 18 degrees out. Guess how I know? My oldest had to be at Choir camp at 7:15am on a Saturday, did I mention it is 18 degrees out? What is wrong with people? This is Houston... it should be a balmy 50 right now.

If you consider venturing out today, or have to find something to do with the kids here are a few options.

Red Mango - Thanks to Kari P. for letting us know about this! On Market street a new frozen yogurt store is opening! Today from 11am-6pm you can get a free small yogurt with a topping! The first 100 people get a free goodies bag! My kids don't care how cold it is, they will eat treats in any weather!

Villa Sport - They are opening the entire facility today for families, to try it out. You don't have to have a membership. From 10am to 1pm you can swim, watch movies, play frisbee and TONS of other fun activities. I am bringing my kids to play and swim. I am also going to be at our Preschools Expo table in the big gym.  This free event is open to the public and brings together more than 45 local private schools, including many preschools, under one roof so that parents can easily review curriculums and programs, ask questions and meet school staff.

YMCA - Today also at the YMCA they are having and open house similar to Villa Sport. You can come for free and try it out! I believe the times are the same, call first just to make sure. Open House Membership Special

We went at 5 pm. We took our kids and the neighbor's kids, so in all there were 10 of us! Service was great and the yogurt was a tasty free treat!
