We had fun for Spring Break. My hubby stayed home the whole week and we ate out WAY too much. Lots of park visits.
Our Spring Break is already over. We played at Chuck E Cheese, saw Alice & Wonderland and went to the park. It was just enough for my 3 kids.
hhayes9710@yahoo.com
We had spring break last week. We didn't do anything special except that my oldest son turned 18! In honor of his birthday, getting his Eagle AND his Duty to God we went and saw "Alice & Wonderland" and ate Chinese. The rest of the week was spent relaxing :)

The grandparents are coming in town and we're going to the science museum.
Unfortunately I spent my Spring Break Sick. I'm a college student/Stay at home mom. I had a terrible Sinus Infection but still managed to do some shopping!! :o) I go back to class tonight and it's cold and raining here!!!

Nothing very exciting for our family...hubby went tropical and the rest of us stayed home ;(....rode bikes, a few playdates, C-E-C, ice cream, swimming...then played in the snow!

Our spring break will be bittersweet. I am taking our girls to visit my parents for the week which is the sweet part. The bitter part is that I will be helping to take care of my dad who is going through radiation for brain cancer. This will probably be our last spring break with him. The range of emotions will be hug next week. Enjoy every moment of life. :)
I didn't have my kiddo for spring break this year. Last year we just hung out at the park alot. Next year we might go camping.

I'll be putting my older children to work "Spring Cleaning" the house!! My little ones, a 3 year old and 2 year old can bask in the glory of "being too young still" for a short while longer. Later in the week they can pick their adventure; bowling, putt-putt, movie, etc. I'm certain there will be way to much eating out!
For our spring break we are planning on spending it planting veggies in the garden, playing with friends and seeing family. We can hardly wait!

Our spring break was last week as well and it was fun, we went to Galveston watched some movies and was lazy a lot. Saturday though we had a bad car accident on 610 South and totaled our car but we were all ok but it was not a fun way to end the break for my 8 year old.
We live in Florida..so the beach is always there and free!! Hopefully the weather will be good!!
lacer02@hotmail.com
For Spring Break we will be spring cleaning. We are going through all old things and cleaning out closets to donate to our local shelter. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can play outside too.

I had to work for spring break and my husbad had boards so no fun for us. Maybe next year
seemana@gmail.com
We had a great spring break. We had a ton of family and friend time which we all loved.:)
We are done with Spring Break also. We didn't do a whole lot...had some of my kids go to cousins homes to stay overnight and had cousins come our way to spend the night. My kids all complained last night about having to go back and BEGGED me to keep them home one more day! I am a pretty cool mom as far as that goes...but not that cool! I was ready for them to go back! :)

My kiddos are not of school age yet. However, we did go to the park last week to enjoy the great weather.

Just got back from Spring Break. Baseball camp for my son and lots of relaxing.
We went to Austin to see the capitol building and the Texas History Museum. We also went to Wonder World in San Marcus. We had not planned on taking the entire week off, (we homeschool) but my son met the new neighbor kids and it turned into major Star Wars city around here. We have never had neighbor kids his age, so I couldn't resist letting him play all week with them!
My Husband and my kids had spring Break from school (no such luck for me... WORK WORK WORK) We just enjoyed more time together than usual and some good ole outdoor time... OH I did catch up on Coupon shopping since hubby was home to watch the kids! YEA!!!
I was completely spoiled! We had a girl's getaway. My mom, sister, sisters-in-law and our daughters met up in NM. We had mini classes (I gave some great coupon tips and people were furiously writing,) we rode the world's longest tram, went to Old Town, Alb, ate out, visited the ABQ Temple, shared recipes, and got pedicures. Then, we had to go home. :(
mdtilton@gmail.com
we just got off our Spring Break, we did not go anywhere, but stayed home and worked in the house. My two boys changed bedrooms- I redid both and worked on some furniture remodeling for my oldests room, which came out wonderful. My husband and I continued to work on a spare room that will be our storage pantry for stockpiling. It is getting closer but probably have a couple more weekends before it is all done.- Great giveaway
We had a very relaxing week, we went the the Childrens Museums, played at the park and took the kids fishing. What a blast!!! rptherese@yahoo.com
Our Spring Break was last week. Part of the week, my husband's back was out, so that was no fun. However, by God's graciousness, he is back on his feet again. Each boy had his turn spending the night at he grandparent's house getting spoiled. I took them to the circus last night, and then out to eat. It was a lot of fun.

I have a three year old so we don't really have "spring break." We did go to the rodeo a couple of times last week.
philpot3@sbcglobal.net
We went to visit my husband's family in New Braunfels and had a good time!

We traveled to TN from TX. Found a house to move to at the end of the month. I'm very excited I will now have a Kroger!!!!
We are going Port Townesend for the week! I am very excited to relax with the family
Well, I'm a teacher in Houston, and our spring break was last week ~ it was spent getting some sun, playing with my dog, and enjoying being lazy!
My kids will be staying with my parents, down the street, while my husband and I work!
I am in school full time & my spring break was last week. My 3 year old had surgery the week before spring break, 2 days later we discovered he had contracted a lovely case of hand foot & mouth disease. So my son & I spent the week watching movies, playing wii & coloring. It was very fun to do nothing!
Well our springbreak was pretty low key. Once I got home from being sick, we spent most of the days at my Mom's house. Even though I didn't think it was too exciting, the boys had a great time with their cousins and just being outside playing. We should all be as easily entertained as our kids. :)
We don't have anything special planned.
We went to the park last week and enjoying the nice weather. I also took my toddler and my baby to Kroger in the morning to help them adjust with the timing. My 2 yrs old toddler loves to do grocery and push the cart by herself. Thank goodness, Kroger has the cart for kid size available. It was very fun and entertaining to do grocery with my kids.

We are just starting Spring Break here and don't have a whole lot planned. Getting some spring cleaning and organizing done and some quality time on the Wii. I believe the library is in our future for some big projects the kids have going on at school.

My plans for spring break were to get out and enjoy the spring weather! Until the end where it started raining cats and dogs on us. :(
We just spent our Spring Break visiting the Space Center and Houston Rodeo. I was hoping to see little piglets born. No luck.

We got to drive up to Nashville to visit the grandparents. The trip was long but we had a lot of fun.
Spring Break here was last week. I've been spending the last of it with strep throat, high fevers, and coughing. No fun. =(
In my house spring break=spring cleaning!
jjak2003 at gmail dot com
My plans were...sleeping in! Nothing big, but nice to be lazy for a week!
My spring break was last week- and I got to spend time with my mom, clean house, and do homework. And my hubby took a day off to spend with me!!
I'm not very lucky at winning- but I'll give it a shot! We went to Sea World and saw Baby Shamu, who was born in January! Who knew a 350 lb. whale baby could be soo cute!
Well my tifani isn't in school yet, but all her cousins and aunties have vacation, so we always have visitors.
We're going up to Illinois to visit my family, and I'm so excited. My sisters will finally get a chance to meet my nine-week-old son! I'm pretty sure I will not see Baby all week unless it is to feed him or change a poopy diaper. ;-)
I had a WONDERFUL spring break! I spent a few days up in Dallas with family, and then spent the rest of the time enjoying law school-free days of doing absolutely NOTHING! :)
We're planning on enjoying the beautiful weather and Cherry Blossoms in Washington, D.C.
hawaiismn(at)gmail(dot)com
Well we started our spring break with my son's 3rd birthday party; since the weather is nice this week we are going to try to spend as much time outside as we can...going to parks and the zoo, and anything else we can think of because if we don't do it this week I'll be too bogged down by school :(
Spring Break here was last week, but our kids are not in school yet, so it was just typical. This weekend, however, we're taking our 2 kids on a little trip before our next baby arrives via adoption! Sort of a Babymoon!
Sick hubby, then sick kids. Not much that can be done.
It is hard work to have fun. We went to the rodeo twice, the zoo, skating, and to sylvan beach! Understand why I'm tired!
doing nothing really for spring break but staying home and relaxing.
blumary1978@yahoo.com
We are going to the zoo and relaxing as a family.

For spring break I think we will or "I" will be doing some spring cleaning and get my kids involved in cleaning up as well...If the weather allows my mom was thinking about doing a yard sale and me participate in it, so we will see =)
jancheta@charter.net
My husband and I will be having a 24 hour date where we farm the kids out to grandparents, and then he will be taking our oldest boys camping for 3 nights. (I'm NOT a camper!)
We had out spring break last week also. We had made baby blankets for the Disney "Give a day, Get a Disney day" and used our free Disney passes. When then drove 2 days to the Washington State coast to spend a few days with the kids grandparents. It rained while we were there but it was a really nice time at a really nice place and I didn't have to pay for it. It then took us 2 days to drive home again but the kids were troppers and did fabulous. All in all an enjoyable trip was had by all.
We took a trip to LA!
dachmonroe@hotmail.com
For my break I am doing some cleaning and shopping!
We enjoyed the amazing weather we had in Houston and went to the zoo, the park (almost every day), decorated our driveway with sidewalk chalk and just tried to soak up every ray of sunshine!
We ended up staying home for the week. We got to sleep in. We had some get-togethers with family and friends. We just relaxed. It was perfect!
Our spring break is next week. My two little girls and I will be hitting the local parks for fun in the sun!
shoegal8.lj@gmail.com
For SB this year I'll be at Girls Camp (pretty much the opposite of a 'break', in spite of being the first trip without the kids). In S. FL they have it then rather during the blazing summer. We don't have a Kroger out here but a GC would be great for our trip out West this summer!
erindixon520@gmail.com
we are planning three days at a nearby lake (with a cabin). I had a stroke last week (though I am only 49) and our spring break is next week. I am hoping to still go because i really want to spend this time with my two youngest who are still at home and my husband. he has taken the week off which we are all looking forward to. from hospital air to fresh lake air. i can hardly wait!
Well, my kids are 3, 1 and 3 months...so I don't really get a spring break yet:-( But I hope to see a few of my teacher friends who will have the week off.
