Oh, I hope I win this one!!! I usually spend about 2 hours a week couponing. It's just me and the hubby, so I only hit up the grocery store every other week except to stop and get milk and other essentials. I also go to CVS every Sunday, but so many wonderful bloggers (such as yourself!) make this very easy to prep.
I love, love, love your binder! I told my husband that I was now working a part-time job now that I am couponing. It seems like I put a huge amount of time into it, but the end result is so fulfilling!!
Hi, I spend a good chunk of Monday on getting ready for my shopping trip on Tuesday. I live about an hour away from Target, Walgreens and Kroger, so if I travel I can also hit CVS and Walmart. It makes for a long 2 days, but then I just keep up with the blogs the rest of the week.
With 2 part time jobs, 2 kids with one in school 2days then we do 2 days of school at home. I spend close to 4- 6 hrs all from start to finish. Great results though all worth it. Thanks for all the info you give. I could not do it without it.
Not enough! I started out super strong about a year ago and have lost momentum (though, I think this would spark the interest, again - that and the fact that we actually ran out of toothpaste last night!!) :) p.s. I found your blog through a gal that I met at Target that goes to your church.
I am new to this whole coupon game, but with a growing family (Six of us) we can use all the help we can get. I spend about 1-2 hours per week. Hope I win!
Currently I only have an hour or so a week to spend on couponing because I have a full time job with a long commute. However, I am looking forward to retirement soon and hope to have more time. Thinking of living on a fixed income is a little scary, so I'm looking forward to couponing in order to supplement our retirement income. Every little bit helps!
Hey! I spend about an hour or two cutting coupons and organizing them each week. Then at the end of the month I have my boy's go thru my coupons to remove the expired one's. Those I put in a baggie to give to the girl across the street who gives them to her military friend. :) It probably takes me about an hour to plan and get ready for a grocery trip. I do go to CVS and Walgreen's but only when I see good deals. I have quite the stockpile now so I try to go with great deals only. LOL
I'm very interested in the binder method of organizing. Right now I use a holder that is in sections. It's not bad, but it does take extra time to find the coupons at the store. Especially when something is out or I need to change my gameplan on the spot. :)
I spend hours cutting 6-8 papers, and another few hours organizing them into my binder that is shot and tearing apart, then just a few more to pull the coupons out that know I am going to use by browsing the awesome blogs like yours, ect.
I started couponing about 3 months ago after meeting your husband and sister at Kroger. I don't have much time to coupon as I am a mother of a 20-month old and 1-month old, a full time student online, and I have both a full-time job and a part-time job. Right now, I still on maternity leave, so I am able to check your blog regularly during the week. Needless to say, I haven't had time to start my own binder, so this would really help me get on track!
I cant even count,I spend hours on the den floor sorting and searching!!! going to night school and having a 6yr old I am always rummaging through coupons over and over again knowing I have a coupon for a sale item but not knowing where I saw it! I have a close relative that delivers the paper so I get 30 of each insert every Sunday and I dont know where to start when it comes to organizing I would love to have this it would save me hours and I mean hours each weeks so I would have more time w/ my daughter!!1
Oh pick me. I would love to have this. I actually started couponing 2 weeks ago and love it. I am still trying to get organized and this would really help.
I spend a least an hour a day and 2on Sunday! .. even my almost 4 yr old daughter likes to pretend to clip coupons...it's cute she even puts them in her purse and everything.
I so need this coupon binder. It takes me at least 2 hours each week to get organized for the weekly shopping trip. My system is just not working. Thanks!
I work a full time job and am also a part time student. But I find enough time during the week to get my coupon shopping in. I started last August and have saved so much money. Couponing if fantastic.
I so would love this!! I spend about 3 hours weekly couponing, matching sales, and reviewing blogs. I would love a jump start on this organization method. Thanks for such a great giveaway. shannontomlin@gmail.com
A fellow mommy at my church playgroup got me started on couponing. She motivated me when I heard just how much she saves every week on groceries and toiletries. I spend around 2 hours a week working on coupons and comparison ads. Your website also helps a lot. Thanks for all of your great info.
i probably spen 1/2 an hour each day checking blogs like yours. That doesn't include the time spent at the store- but I am super prepared once I get to the store...I hope I win this! I just got 25 coupon inserts in the mail!
I spend quite a bit of time couponing, but I feel like I more than make my hourly rate back in savings. Fingers are crossed for the binder! I am in serious need!
I am new to your site and saving all coupons. I have spent a couple of hours a week, but I think I will end up spending more then that. Thanks for the chance to win the coupon binder. Lisa shop2udrop@embarqmail.com
I spend about one hour a day because I am just learning. I share what I know with others so it feels like I am always talking about coupons. If I win I plan to give the binder to my mom. She and my dad are on a fixed income and the savings really help them.
What a great idea! I spend too much time flipping through my stacks at the store. I think I spend 2-3 hours a week printing and clipping coupons. But totally worth it.
I spend about an hour a day couponing, if I'm lucky and the baby gives me that time! I find it relaxing to have a little time to sit down and do something quiet! I'd love to have this binder, it would make finding things so much easier.
I spend a lot of time couponing, at least an hour each day. However, I feel like I need to spend a lot more time at it. I think that I really embarrassed my son when I worked on filing my coupons while watching him at basketball practice, but you've got to do what you've got to do.
I love your binder system! I spend about an hour a week scanning ads and clipping coupons and my trips to the store take 20 min. or so longer than they used to as I try to match up sales and coupons. I have only been doing this for a couple of months and I still have a lot to learn!
I am pretty new to couponing, so I spend about 3 hours a week. I mostly read the blogs to see what deals the stores have for the week, and then clip the coupon I need
I have a baby, so I don't have too much time for couponing. I go through the Sunday flyers to see what the sales are, and clip my Sunday coupons and my mom's leftover coupons, and that's about it. Well, and I read your blog! An organization system would help me a lot!
I am still pretty new at all of this so it takes me longer than it should. I also have two small children so I don't often get to sit down for very long at a time. At least a couple of hours a week.
I'm just starting to learn the art of couponing. I'm a new mom and I only spend about an hour a week couponing, need to spend more though! amandarenee36@yamhoo.com
I started couponing about three weeks ago and I have now started dreaming about coupons. The numbers just roll around in my head all day and all night. Creepy, I know but I am really excited about my new hobby. I honestly cannot put a number on the hours I have spent couponing.
I spend all total about 2 hours a week clipping & sorting my coupons. It takes time, but is soooooo worth it when you see your total bill start to shrinking when at the checkout!!! I could use a new coupon binder - mine is on it's last leg. HOPE I WIN!!!!! Thanks, Tammy gordonfan@embarqmail.com
I really could use this coupon binder! If my coupons were more organized, I could save even more money! I spend a couple of hours a week couponing. I don't live in a metro area with all the big chain stores, but I try to do the best I can with what I have! Enjoy your blog so much!
I'm curious about the binder system. I've been couponing for a few years now & the best method I've come up with is a shoe box with labeled envelopes. I spend 2-3 hours a week organizing & planning shopping trips. I call my Friday and/or Saturday night working moms entertainment :)
I would love to win this! i usually try to spend about an hour a night after my boys are in bed, working on my deals and coupons. OHhhh this would be a great thing to win :)
My husband is disabled and we have very low income.I,m a diabetic and we use coupons to help buy our food and other things.I spend about fours working on my coupons. this really helps out a lot. My sister got me started doing couponing you can get some good deals.Love itrhyped
Just saw your comment on FB. No, I am not getting tired of this giveaway! Thanks for the reminder! I usually spend about an hour a day Tuesday - Thursday and a couple hours one day a weekend. I am trying hard to balance couponing with everything else as it can take over your life if you let it.
I am currently spending about two hours a week couponing. I'm still trying to find the organizational method that works for me. Winning this binder would give me the perfect reason to try out the binder method. :)
I need that binder! I am a couponing newbie so sometimes I spend a few hours a week and other weeks I feel so overwhelmed, I go to wal-mart with NO coupons (gasp!)
I must spend at least 3 hours a week couponing! People ask me how much time it takes me, but between work and the 3 boys my time is broken up. I love to do it in the early hours before the boys are up.
Bonus entry for me! I shared the giveaway on facebook a few minutes ago! And no status change on the gobbs of time I spend on my favorite sport- couponing! And now that I have 3 shelf reliance shelves, I am even more eager to aquire cheap and free canned goods!
I NEED a way to minimize my coupon organizing time. I'm using an accordian file folder right now and so go through each category every week to plan my shopping trips. Opening the binder would be so much easier! I just can't find the extra minutes to switch methods- full time working mom of two sweet boys and an incredible husband... who wants to spend any more minutes away from them than I already do? This would be a great help :)
I spend about 2 hours a week cutting and organzing my coupons, then planning my shopping trips. When I first started couponing, I was very overwhelmed at all the deals and how long it took me to sort through everything. I've trimmed my way of doing things though and only go for the deals my family will use!
I usually spend about 2-3 hours a week cutting, filing and organizing my coupons. I put my girls to work helping me cut them while I file them. They grumble continuously about helping me but whenever sunday comes around, they dig through the papers to get the coupons ready for me.
I usually spend about an hour or two couponing a week. But now I have to start over! In the last week I somehow lost my coupon system. I must have lost it at a store. I have called and asked them to look in their lost and found and nobody has it. So, when I saw you were giving this away I thought this would sure be awesome to win. Thanks. Denise in WI
I just got started with couponing (maybe 3 weeks ago) so I spend more time now than I hope to in the near future. Currently I spend about 2 hours cutting / organizing. Then I spend waaay too much time figuring out where to go and what to buy and actually in the store. I'm working on it!
I spend at least an hour every Sunday cutting and organizing...but then it depends on how many inserts there are in the paper too. Sometimes it's less.
I spend about an hour or so on Sunday getting all my coupons together and getting rid of ones that are expired. I would really love to win! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I wish I could say that it didn't take me very long but I am not organized yet so it gets tedious. I probably spend 2-4 hours a week getting ready for my shopping trips. I would love to have this binder to get organized and save time! Thanks for all you do!
I spend waaaay too much time couponing. Probably at least 5 hours a day. It's really like a part time job. I would like to get more organized. My binder consists of a 3 ring binder with paper dividers with labled paper envelopes taped to them. I've had it for almost a year and it is saaaaad. I
Hi! I spend wayy to much time couponing because I have to go shopping a little bit every day to get good deals (I don't have a car and have to go to stores near my workplace). I tried the method of keeping whole inserts but that didn't work for me. I just had huge stacks of paper everywhere! Hopefully, with a binder I can start to do couponing correctly!
Hello! I spend a lot of time, I use to work 50 hours/ week and now I am a new stay at home mommy! We are 21 and 23, and are trying to pay of debts and stock up to save! My husband is finally understanding the coupon thing, but hates sitting there while i file through my little piles to see if i have the coupon.lol. he would love you if i had one of these!
First thing, I love your blog and thank you for all the hard work you do to keep us informed about all the sales. I usually spend about 3 hours getting my coupons cut out, then I spend quite a bit of time shopping and my husband goes with me to help me find the items. I hope I win....Thanks you again.....the binder looks awesome and so organized. qmh1026@yahoo.com
I am new to couponing so it seems like I am spending a really long time figuring it all out. Thanks for all the helpful information!! Thanks for the giveaway.. Here's to hoping I win!!!
I try to coupon as much as possible but since having my 4th, I have been to busy...or lazy when it comes to couponing, BUT I am bound and determine to start again! All the information you provide is GREAT! Thank you!
I would probably say I spend 2-3 hours a week couponing. When you count up time spent searching coupons, printing and clipping coupons, organizing and using them, it really adds up!
I spend several hours a week on couponing! I read blogs, cut coupons and try out different deals. I currently use a plastic shoe box and I have a hard time keeping track of my coupons. I would love to win this terrific coupon binder! kerriekg@yahoo.com
I am new to this and spend about an hour a day reading blogs, then maybe 2 hours once a week getting my shopping list and coupons in order. But with nine children in the home it is a wonder I can find the time. Saving each week is exciting so it keeps me motivated. The last 3 weeks, I have fed my family of 11 on last than $100 each week whoo hoo. Sadly my envelops keep getting smushed in my diaper bag so I really could use a binder. thanks for the chance.
I just started couponing. I've been doing it for about a month and a half now and I am still in the process of learning the ropes. I probably spend 3 to 4 hours trying to figure things out.
I also just started couponing about 2 weeks ago and at the moment I spend a lot of time with it (probably 4 hours a week?). My husband already mentioned that I am obsessed with it;-) Anyway, I've just started and would love to win the giveaway.
I hope I am not too late. I am new at coupons and I spend about 1hr a day seeing what the deals are. And then go full force on Fri/Sat after the kids have gone to bed.
I'd gather that I spend between 4 and 6 hours a week. Between clipping, looking through ads, and then checking the blogs for what I've missed I'm at this a lot... LOL
I think I'll investigate this method even if I don't win. I hate shuffling through coupons at the store!
Found your link from Moneysavingmom.com, Would love to get more organized, my folder has seen its better days. I spend a good couple of hours of couponing a week. Thanks need all the help I can get.
I spend a few hours a week, lately it has been mainly in printing online coupons and organizing since the Sunday circulars have not had anything I was interested in. I love your binder!!
When I first started couponing I spent a lot of time on it but now I have been doing it for a while and thanks to blogs like yours I spend maybe 20 to 30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week cutting and sorting and looking for deals. Thanks for all the help you give me and others by posting the match ups. It is greatly appreciated!

Not enough! I started out super strong about a year ago and have lost momentum (though, I think this would spark the interest, again - that and the fact that we actually ran out of toothpaste last night!!) :) p.s. I found your blog through a gal that I met at Target that goes to your church.

I also receive you on my googleReader. :)

I spend a couple of hours a week. I have only been using Publix, but am now expanding to CVS and WaG. I would love this binder!

I would love to try the binder method. My coupons are getting out of control.

I also just started couponing about 2 weeks ago and at the moment I spend a lot of time with it (probably 4 hours a week?). My husband already mentioned that I am obsessed with it;-) Anyway, I've just started and would love to win the giveaway.

I'd gather that I spend between 4 and 6 hours a week. Between clipping, looking through ads, and then checking the blogs for what I've missed I'm at this a lot... LOL
I think I'll investigate this method even if I don't win. I hate shuffling through coupons at the store!
Man, you're getting popular, Tiffany!
I spend about 30 minutes a week couponing. That's about all the time I have right now!
Would love to win your binder!
