As couponers many times we have more than we need. This week May 2-8th is Stamp Out hunger week. Did you know that if place a bag of non-perishable items by your mail box your letter carrier will pick them up on Saturday May 8th?
I am joining another blogger Kaleye who had an amazing idea to start a community of couponers donating this week to end hunger! You can read about her mission HERE. She created a Facebook Event page where you can check out the other blogs participating in the event.
Take some time today to consider what you want to give. Remember that Saturday, May 8 is Stamp Out Hunger Day. Giving can be as easy as leaving a bag of non-perishable food items by your mailbox.
Like a few other bloggers I would like to issue a challenge:
~Take this week to see what great deals you can score, lets see who can get the "best" deal with $5 or less. Email me ( mylitter@mac.com ) with your pictures and receipts, I will post them and we can vote on who we think got the best deal! The winner will get a Coupon Binder as the prize! DEADLINE IS FRIDAY NIGHT.
~ Take a picture of the items that you are donating and leaving by your mail box on Saturday May 8th, send us the estimated price that you paid for them! Lets show people what a difference couponing can make!
On Saturday, Kaleye will have Mr. Linky up for us to post our pictures of what we donated. Lets have the most donations coming from MyLitter! Are you up for it!!??

Awesome idea! Does it have to be deals we scored this week? I would like to toss in some of the nearly-free macaroni and cheese I got week before last (as 25 boxes really is a lot for two people!) :D
