Mega Swagbucks Day!

Much better again this week! I won 533. Another $5 gift card to Amazon in my Christmas pile! If you are not familiar with Swagbucks, it is a great way to earn extra gift cards for Christmas, that is what I do. By using their search engine instead of Google you can earn "Swagbucks" and then redeem them for gift cards. Typically I earn about $5 a week, just for doing what I would do anyway on the computer. Friday's your chances are much better at getting bigger amounts of Swagbucks.

On Friday's I am going to post ( so I am accountable!) how many I have earned the past week! It takes 450 swagbucks to get a $5 Amazon gift card. In the beginning it sounded like a lot of trouble to me for not much reward, let me tell you it is worth it! I can earn about $10 a week just myself!

Just like Shop at Home and Ebates, Swagbucks is one of those that I really wish I had signed up earlier to do! It is so easy and I am able to really get some nice things from Amazon in return. The key is to sign up and invite your friends to sign up also.

1. There is a code on the Swagbucks Blog  worth 20 Swagbucks.

If you need a hint the drop down menu the Swag guy is talking about is the little arrow next to your total swagbucks number in the top right hand corner of the home page.

They have already released all the letters. I was able to successfully redeem this 30 point code.

2. There is a second Swag Code hunt out. Only this one is going to take a while. For the next 7 hours, Swag Bucks is going to release one letter of the code in random places. At the end of 7 hours (around 10 cst), you will be able to enter the code for 30 Swag Bucks. It will expire at 11 pm cst!

How to get more Swagbucks!

For me I have found that the more I use swagbucks the more I win. If I am only using it occasionally I might get $1 here and there. If I am using it on a regular basis I start getting $2-$3 at a time. So being consistent seems to be a key. 


When you first sign up you get $3 just for starting. To get your link so your friends and family can sign up under you, go to Swagbucks.com, then click the PROMOTE tad at the top. Click on Invite Friends and Earn, then click the green PROMOTE star. There will be a little guy with your referral link. Have your friends and family sign up under you and start earning!


P.S. Downloading the tool bar makes it sooooo much easier. I found that if I type in Mylitter of 6 more often than not I get a swagbuck!
